The DFX EQ Sync module allows you to sync the playback of the sound loops to the play back of the main song. If you want to create a mix with a particular tempo, this is the easiest way to control that tempo during playback. If you add multiple sound loops and want to be able to select the loop’s preferred tempo, first connect all the loops to DFX EQ Sync to allow them to sync automatically. What’s New In?
The EQ Sync setting is a very convenient way to control all the EQ settings of the synth on a per-sound basis.
The Synth can be in two modes:
The first is ‘automated mode’, where the settings are the same for all sounds, and the Synth simply matches them according to the tempo that you set.
The other option is’manual mode’, where you can adjust the EQ for all the sounds separately.
The synth will always go into ‘automated mode’ if you change the preset and EQ, since the instrument in each preset and the instrument/fx controls are identical.
In any case, you will have to sync the synth settings with the MPC60 keyboard and view the ‘DFX EQ Sync’ setting in the synth.
You can also use the faders to manually control the EQ. If you set a new preset/EQ, the setting will be applied automatically to each sound.
The faders are reset when you change presets/EQ, and they will only accept adjustments when you are in ‘automated mode’.
The last thing to consider is the «Automation» setting of the Synth. In order to understand how it affects sound and automation you should know that the Synth has five layers:
